PK2. Erecting on Brick (or concrete blocks)

1. Measure position of first rail.
2. Mark position of first rail anchor.
3. Drill 6mm pilot hole to required depth.
4. Using a 10mm masonry drill, re-drill the 6mm hole to enlarge to the correct diameter.
5. Push the fixing in the hole.
6. Then tighten with PK7/6 Rail key, this will lock the fixing in position. Now un-tighten the centre bolt of the fixing and remove.
7. The Rail is now ready to fix to the Rail Anchor.
8. Insert the central screws and washers through the desired slot in the rail and re-insert to the fixing in the wall and tighten using PK7/6 Rail Key.



PK1. Erecting on Low density Concrete blocks (Breeze blocks)

1. Mark the position of the first Rail Anchor, drill a hole using a masonry drill 12mm dia by 5mm deeper than the fixing. (do not use the hammer setting on the drill)
2. Position the fixing in the hole, using the PK7/8 Rail Key, turn the fixing so it starts screwing into the block. (the fixing has a large external thread which will cut into the block).
3. Carry on turning the fixing, until the fixing is flush with the block.
4. It is important that the fixing is not below the surface of the block.
5/a. The Rail is now ready to fix to the Rail Anchor.
6/a. Using the M8 Rail fixing screws and washers in pack PK1. Screw the fixing into the central threaded hole in the Rail Anchor while holding the Rail in Position. Tighten using PK7/6 Rail Key.
